Polymer Stud Tactile Indicators

equibuilt poly-stud tactile indicators are engineered and purpose built tough to withstand extreme point loading and side impact. The unique formulation and large anchoring spigot not only ensures the product is made to last, it also protects the substrate from any possibility of damage. equibuilt poly-stud tactiles are long lasting and resistant to heavy traffic abuse and maintenance machinery.

Safety is the most important criteria when selecting a plastic tactile Indicator. With an anti-slip rating of R11 it is one of the best performing plastic tactile indicators on the market. Manufactured from a blend of new generation polymers to ensure long lasting UV stable performance in Australia’s extreme climatic conditions. Easy to install with an anchoring spigot designed to deform and lock when driven into a cavity. This creates a positive, strong and efficient means of mechanically fixing the tactile Indicator to almost any surface. There is no requirement for adhesive which means your installation is ready to walk on in minutes. Ideal for public transport and other high traffic areas equibuilt poly-stud tactile Indicators can be installed over: concrete, bitumen, natural stone, ceramic tiles, pavers, timber, carpet and most other surfaces.

Available in 6 colours to match almost any décor and meet the 45% luminance contrast requirement of AS1428.4.1. Colours include: high visibility Yellow, Ivory, Grey, Black, Ocean Blue and Terracotta.

Polymer Tactile Pads and Tiles

equibuilt polymer tactile pads and tiles are manufactured from premium polymeric materials and will contour to any substrate. They are easily shaped with a knife and are dimensionally stable so as not to move once bonded to: concrete, bitumen, timber, pavers and most other substrates. Available in two (2) sizes: 900mm x 600mm and 300mm x 300mm (peel and stick).

equibuilt polymer tactiles provide optimum UV stability and wear resistance without compromising on other physical properties. The polymer will not exhibit the unsightly effects of weathering or “blooming” of plasticizers and processing aids and will remain vibrant for the life of the product.

equibuilt polymer tactile pads are R11 rated and available in 9 colours to meet the 30% luminance contrast requirements of AS1428.4.1 in both hazard and directional profiles. Colours include: Ivory, Yellow, Grey, Black, Sunset Orange, Terracotta, Sky Blue, Ocean Blue and Storm Grey. equibuilt polymer tactile tiles are R12 rated and available in black and yellow.
